Based on the teardown the repairability of the Google Pixel 2 XL seems to be quite low. The use of adhesive for both the back cover and battery makes it difficult to access and replace these components. Additionally the delicate process of removing the screen and the need to disassemble several components to access the battery are also major drawbacks. However the fact that the screen cable and screen can be removed without removing too many components is a positive aspect. Overall I would give the repairability of the Google Pixel 2 XL a score of 3.5 out of 10.
