Summary
The Google Pixel 3 has mixed repairability. The battery and its connector are relatively easy to access and Google included pull tabs to help with battery removal which improves serviceability despite the battery being secured with adhesive. However repairs are complicated by extensive adhesive on both the battery and the fragile glass back cover which is difficult to remove without breaking. Screen replacement is also more involved because several components and plastic board covers must be removed before accessing the necessary cables increasing repair time and difficulty.
