The Huawei Mate 10 Pro has mixed repairability. On the positive side the battery and its connector are relatively easy to access once inside the device. However repairs are hindered by adhesive securing both the back cover and the battery making disassembly more difficult and increasing the risk of damage during removal. Screen replacement is also more complex because several internal components must be removed first and plastic covers over the boards add extra steps before cables can be accessed. Overall the device is serviceable but includes multiple design choices that complicate common repairs.
