The Samsung Galaxy J8 has moderate repairability challenges. Accessing the battery requires disassembling several components and the use of adhesive makes its removal more difficult. Although the screen cable and assembly can be removed without taking out too many other parts the screen must be detached first a delicate and risk-prone process. The charging port is soldered directly to the main board further complicating replacement or repair making overall repair efforts somewhat cumbersome.
