The Samsung Galaxy Xcover 5 appears to be relatively repair-friendly based on the teardown. The back cover is secured with clips instead of adhesive allowing it to be removed easily without heat tools. The battery and its connector are readily accessible and Samsung includes pull tabs for simpler battery removal. The display assembly is also easier to service because the screen cable and screen can be accessed without dismantling many internal components. No significant repairability drawbacks were noted in the teardown.
