The Xiaomi 17 offers mixed repairability. The battery cable and battery are easy to access and the included pull tabs help simplify battery removal despite adhesive securing the battery in place. However adhesive on the back cover makes initial entry more difficult and several plastic covers over the boards must be removed to reach internal connectors and cables adding extra steps to repairs. Overall the device is reasonably serviceable for common repairs but still relies on adhesive and layered coverings that reduce ease of disassembly.
