The Xiaomi 17 Ultra offers mixed repairability. The battery and its cable are relatively easy to access and the included pull tabs help simplify battery removal despite adhesive securing it in place. The screen is also fairly serviceable because its cable and display can be removed without taking out many additional components. However repairs are slowed by adhesive on the back cover and battery and several plastic covers over the boards must be removed before accessing internal connectors and cables. Overall the design supports some common repairs reasonably well but adhesive and layered protective covers add extra effort.
