The iPhone 16e has mixed repairability. On the positive side the battery and its cable are relatively easy to access once inside the device. However several design choices make repairs more difficult: the back cover is secured with adhesive the battery itself is glued in place and the screen must be removed first to reach internal components which increases the risk of damage during disassembly. Additional time and effort are also required to remove metal plates covering the cable connectors. Overall the device offers some accessible internal components but relies heavily on adhesive and layered construction that complicate repairs.
